I have been lucky to have experienced a varied and challenging career so far. For a more detailed breakdown of my roles and responsibilities please view my CV using the button above. For a brief overview of what I have been up to and some highlights please see below:

Holmbury

As Area Manager I have P&L responsibility for the West UK, Scandinavia, South East Asia, Japan and Korea! I work to strict monthly revenue and profit targets and work with established distributors, end users and new business.

Starting in September 2012 I looked after the West UK. In recognition of my outstanding sales I was given responsibility for Scandinavia in September 2013 and South East Asia, Japan and South Korea in January 2014.

Selling a technical product with over 50 different product lines and over two thousand SKUs I have had to learn quickly - giving technical and commercial presentations to customers across the world leaves nowhere to hide!

Whilst at Holmbury I have won sales competitions with prizes such as a trip to the USA and a Christmas Hamper.

Tradpak

My first true sales role - National Sales Executive for Tradpak Ltd. Joining a growing company with a senior management consisting of experienced and ambitious sales professionals from the waste industry this was a challenging role with a steep learning curve!

As the sole Sales Executive I was responsible for purchasing in empty and used industrial chemical packaging suitable for cleaning and for all sales of reconditioned packaging out of the site. I was expected to work closely with all operational staff and I organised successful sales calls with the Operational Director and the Transport Manager.

With challenging multi layered targets including: Sales Activity (4 meetings per day), Sales Pyramid Growth, Customer Uptrading, Website SEO, revenue and profit, I was kept on my toes!

At Tradpak I increased my basic salary by more than 45% in two years and had a profit share scheme on strategic products. I also earned prizes such as a funded trip to Marbella and a case of Japanese whisky for winning key accounts!

GE Dowty Propellers

Dowty was my first full time role after University. I started at GE on a work experience scheme run by the University of Gloucester. After a day of interviews I was offered three different jobs but I was impressed by Dowty's willingness to drop me in the deep end with a major project!

My main role was to manage the logistics of a major upgrade programme of the computers that control the propellors on the Bombardier Dash 8 Q400.  The upgrade was rolled out to end users as a collaboration between myself, the aircraft manufacturer and a key supplier to Dowty. Upon successful completion of the project (under budget and within deadlines)  I took on other responsibilities including sales forecasting and adopting a new web based server to store documents.

When I handed in my notice at Dowty (after being offered a sales role at Tradpak) I was proud to be offered two separate new roles at GE in an attempt to keep me at the company.
